Marcelo C. Ossó
Fine Art Ships Models

In 1982 he took a course in building models at Argentina’s National Naval Museum. Between 1983 and 1986 he completed internships with renowned marine modelers to learn their techniques.
In 1986, simultaneously with the start of his law studies, he built his first model to order, a freighter. Since then he has made more than a hundred models, which can be found in corporate and private collections and museums in various countries. The fact that Marcelo sailed from age 6 , and studied ship design from the standpoint a historical and technical point of view, has inspired him to specialize in the construction of pleasure yacht models. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and solo shows both in Argentina and abroad and has won 7 first prizes these competitions.
